Conceptual Design Phase
Starting with the Conceptual Meeting is the first step in the process. It allows us to assess your project further and decide which of our services would be the best fit.
At this meeting we will finalize the scope of work, allowing us to prepare our design proposal, as well as get preliminary pricing from our trade partners. Our Design Lead will also provide feedback and ideas on the vision that you have. After this meeting, we will provide our design proposal that outlines the timeline, budget, and deliverables. Once we have your signed contract and proposal, as well as retainer, the design work will start.
Conceptual Design development, this is how we map out our project goals. We start by learning everything about you, from your design style to how your family uses your home day to day.
We then look at how to improve the functionality of the space and the feasibility of our design vision. Once done, we move onto expanding our design concept in the design development phase.
At the end of the Conceptual Design Phase, you will receive:
Project Vision Board - highlights the overall design vision, and provides the end concept we're looking to achieve. The board ensures we're staying on track as we move throughout the project
Conceptual Floor Plan - shows the final furniture and/or cabinetry layout. This allows us to source the appropriate furnishings for your space, as well as design any built-ins or other custom features.
Simple Design Image - helps the homeowner to envision the overall layout
Preliminary Budget - the renovation team will provide preliminary estimates based on the scope of work. This allows us to determine the feasibility of our overall design vision
Design Development Phase
In the Design Development phase we will expand on the design concept and begin to curate the details.
We source all of the furnishings, fixtures, and finishes to achieve the design vision for your space, and refine all the necessary elements.
We then hold a design presentation meeting whereby the homeowner provides their approval of selections and the revisions sub-phase. From here, we complete the detailed design drawings.
At the end of the Design Development Phase, you will receive:
Design drawing package - showcases the various cabinetry, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes, allowing the homeowner to see how everything goes together
Elevations of Custom Features - shows the overall concept for any built-ins or other custom features
Renderings - helps the homeowner to envision the final space with finishes and furnishings
Investment Amount - proposal documents will lay out the final estimates from our renovation team, as well as our own implementation and procurement fees (if applicable)
Implementation Phase
Now it's time to really get to work! Now that you have had a chance to approve the design, we will work to help see the project through to completion. This means coordinating with our renovation team, as well as arranging for the purchase and delivery of all of your furnishing items. We end with a final reveal day and professional photography!
During the Implementation Phase, we will achieve:
Procurement of Goods we arrange for the purchase and delivery of all goods through our studio so we can track all orders and ensure that any deficiencies are promptly taken care of.
Transformation of Your Home - we work with the renovation team to manage the scheduling and quality of your project, as well as take care of any problems that arise
The Final Reveal - a completed space ready for professional photography
Project Closure - all project deficiencies will be taken care of, and the homeowner will be left with all care instructions and warranty information
